I have curated a few groupings of my favourite items that I design and make or that can be found in my boutique and made by local artisans. Every piece is of the highest quality, made with love and made to last!

Capes
Our women’s capes are a perennial favourite at Strévé Design in downtown Perth. Like scarves, capes tend to be one size fits all.
Collage Full Grain Leather and Suede Cape

One of my most popular cape silhouettes is one size and looks good on tall and short women. This is a one of a kind piece of wearable art; custom order exactly what you want!
Style Notes: The collage design is freehand cut in an artful manner and appliqued. Pieces of suede have been hand painted in metallic coppers, teals and golds to combine all the colours together.
The tailored collar is a face flattering shape and the zippered front closure adds a sporty and functional element to this design. Two bound pockets in the front are perfectly placed for functionality.
The suede / leather cape functions as a coat because it is lined in eco-friendly bemberg lining. Many women find that they can wear these capes through the fall, winter, and spring because the roomy cut allows for a sweater, vest of jacket as a first layer. As the season warms discard the first layer.
Sizing: one size fits all (the cape is 35″ at centre back measure and is a good proportion for all heights. The model is 5’8″)
Content + Care: Full grain lamb leather and suede with hand painted suede in acrylic paints. Dry Clean.

Full Grain Leather Square Envelope Bag with Swirl Quilt Design in Curry

Style Notes: The perfectly proportioned design in curry is the closest to my heart because this is the first style of handbag that I created in my business. The inspiration was a red lamb leather bag that I bought in a tiny boutique in Milan, Italy after I graduated from Ryerson.
The top flap of this bag is held in place with a brass magnet and the textural quilting plays perfectly against the black leather trim. This functional bag holds a fat wallet thanks to the side gussets and measures 9.5” wide by 9” high and 3.5” side width at the fullest part of the gusset. The 3” tassel creates the perfect feminine touch! The textural element of my signature quilt design is just the perfect touch.
The double strap is ⅜” wide and is cut as a cross body strap measuring 52” long. If you are taller than 5’9” or shorter than 5’3” you may wish to have your strap cut longer or shorter. The strap can also be cut to a regular shoulder length (not a cross body). The standard measurement for this type of strap is 45”. Please let us know the length of strap that you prefer when you place your order. This Canadian made bag can be customized.
